What is the Molecular Imaging Center at Sanford?

The Molecular Imaging Center at Sanford (MICS) is a partnership between Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine and MI Bioresearch, that provides expertise in small animal in-vivo pharmacology and imaging, and fully staffed services utilizing cutting-edge, research instrumentation. This pre-clinical imaging facility brings together the scientific and managerial expertise of MI Bioresearch, and state-of-the-art equipment offered through Sanford Consortium for Regenerative Medicine, including pre-clinical MRI, PET, SPECT, CT, bioluminescence, fluorescence and ultrasound. This exceptional resource is open to the entire biomedical community in San Diego.
